The course was presented in such a way that I did not feel under pressure or embarrassed when I made a mistake during the practical sessions. The instructors paid lots of attention to positive praise which I found boosted my confidence. Also I found it comforting that the assessments were not done by an instructor standing over you watching and ticking a sheet of paper. I definitely feel a lot more confident in myself and in my ability to handle and cope should a violent episode arise. Many thanks.

Excellent course, easy to follow. Good examples ... to re-enforce relevance of doing things correctly. Lots of practice and supervision to ensure we are doing restraints/moves correctly. A very approachable instructor who is willing and more than able to answer any questions and back up the answer. Everything was relevant to our job setting and will be remembered.
