2025 PMVA Level 2 full and refresher courses
The RRN and NHSE statement on RRN certified training implementation for 'Agency Workers' was shared at the BILD Association of certified training (ACT) Community of practice meeting on the 20th September 2023.
This statement has now been formally approved by NHSE and CQC, and now ready to be distributed.
The statement gives information about verification of training for agency, temporary, and bank workers in organisations who are required to use certified training.
Ethical Care's training is in alignment with skills for health and it's CTSF with best practice guidance from the RRN policy framework and training standards with the Mental Health Units of Force Act 2018.
Our scope of training has been certified by the BILD Association of certified training as complying with the restraint reduction network training standards 2020 for education and social care teaching PMVA and Conflict Resolution services supporting adults and children, people with mental health, learning disabilities, acquired brain injury and people living with dementia in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Following this we are now offering our independent Ethical care RRN/BILD (ACT) 2023 PMVA Level 2 Restraint course for 3 x Days with Practical and theory assessments for up to twelve learners, once a month (more dates will be made if demand requires it) at our hired training venue in Gants Hill.
PMVA courses for companies and organisations
Any organisations, agencies or companies requiring their staff to have a full RRN/BILD certified three day PMVA Level 2 course or one day refresher update with Ethical Care at a location supplied by yourselves can contact us on 07979461771 or email us at info@eccruk.com.
All agencies need to be aware that learners can only take up to three annual refresher updates before a complete full course must be taken as per the RRN/BILD recommendation guidelines. This is the agencies responsibility who employs the learner to check NOT the responsibility of Ethical Care.

- The RRN or RRN BILD Association of Certified Training is a BILD certified PMVA (Prevention and Management of Aggression) training courses, also referred as C&R or Control and Restraint which included breakaway and restraint type of physical intervention.
Included within our Conflict Resolution Training is our Train the Trainers or Instructors courses.
Conflict Management has been an integral part of Ethical Care since it's start. Our TNA or Training needs analysis form with our Mapping tool has been used by many including access to ascertain what training is required.
We have trainers with lived experience which helps us manage aggression in either a planned or unplanned intervention.
Our guidance includes writhin the legal use of force, primary intervention and PMVA for many diverse client groups including but not an exhaustive list, ambulance services, Brain injuries,learning disabilities, mental health,for lone workers, young people, autism, education and social care, services supporting adults, services supporting children and young people, PMVA for people with mental health conditions and people with dementia.
We teach in England, Scotland,Wales and in Northern Ireland. Our experience goes back many years and we we're the first to teach PMVA for social care services in England and now we have training that is certified as complying with restraint reduction network training standards with the Bild association of certified training and restraint reduction network approved and ukas product certification. we have our iso 9001 accreditation which is in its 13th year.
