First on scene hostage negotiator course profile

 

This is a one day course suitable for those who work in:

     Closed or confined areas
 

     Medium or high dependency secure environments
 

     Areas open to potential exploitation of known or unknown perpetrators.

It is also valuable for staff awareness of potential perpetrators and knowledge of what happens behind the scenes. The course is delivered by our company director who is a former Home Office approved Hostage Negotiator.
 

 

Aims

To give learners a basic knowledge of:

     What to do and not to do in first on scene hostage situations
 

     How to safely manage situations by understanding phase of negotiation to successful

           completion or handover to Police.
