Bodyguard CPPI (close protection physical intervention) Level 2 training course profile

Please note - This course is ONLY available to registered SIA Close Protection Operatives or bodyguards with international qualifications.


Police officers, prison officers and regular armed forces personnel may also attend, however all learners must have completed level 1 CPPI before attending this course.

One day intensive course/or can be combined into a 2 x day course following CPPI level 1.

 

 

Aims

To give learners a knowledge and understanding of impactive methods on disengagement against someone using or likely to use a blunt or sharp object as a weapon in a high risk close protection armed situation.

 

 

Objectives

To give learners confidence and ability to escape, disarm or neutralize an armed third party from violent actions and protect themselves and principle in the close protection environment.

     Impact defence disarming methods.
 

     Escape from a variety of reality based scenarios.

 

 

Certification

Visual assessments are made by tutors to examine all learners practice and apply correct methods shown.
